In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Khalid Parry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Golts to maneuver through the defense.
