Jacob Santalla made a great header on New Joinville - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marquinhos Jacinto hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xandinho Kane in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xandinho Kane in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 40 in the game by Xandinho Kane from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Xandinho Kane in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
