When Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 8 minutes of play, Zorros del Desierto's Pape Lillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermengol Baena was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 10 minutes, Pape Lillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorros del Desierto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pape Lillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermengol Baena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Dijoux in the 15th minute of the match. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Dijoux in the 21st minute of play. Franco Bosch might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clark Kent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franco Bosch ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent got control of the ball when Franco Bosch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clark Kent made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Franco Bosch sent off a good shot on target. When Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bosch came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Franco Bosch managed to get in a good position for a shot. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Bosch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clark Kent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Zorros del Desierto were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franco Bosch to make the kick off. Franco Bosch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clark Kent having to make a save. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Bosch in the 52nd minute of play. If Alex Dijoux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pape Lillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ermengol Baena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Quirce Lamas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Franco Bosch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clark Kent was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Ermengol Baena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► from getting a goal against them. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
