The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Miralles to maneuver through the defense. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sten Malm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Sten Malms short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Camilo Freixa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rd minute Sten Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Engström hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Nils Engström charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Engström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Brunkens Bollklubb getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nils Engström hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Malm got free with Camilo Freixa in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Sten Malm made the kick off in the second half. 3-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Sten Malm elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Fernandino got free with Sven-Olof Gustafsson in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Nils Engström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Engström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 70th minute Nils Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Almkvist hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Sten Malm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Sven-Olof Gustafsson made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Mario Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brunkens Bollklubb had played much better football throughout.
