Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play forced Δ ০ δ ρ ы н я's goalkeeper Venko Notev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Venko Notev in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Sarracino came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Hortêncio Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Δ ০ δ ρ ы н я's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Sarracino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Δ ০ δ ρ ы н я booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Δ ০ δ ρ ы н я's Erubiel Sarracino. But to his dismay, Erubiel Sarracino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 94 minutes into the game, Gerasim Popkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Δ ০ δ ρ ы н я's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. After a rather tough play, Δ ০ δ ρ ы н я's Gerasim Popkov got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Gerardo Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
