The coaching staff of Velester Football Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arkadiusz Piglowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 6th minute, one of Velester Football Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Velester Football Club. The referee gave Peru a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luz Tejedor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci. 0-2. Ferdinando Scarinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinando Scarinci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Yin Zhi Wei made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinando Scarinci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 played minutes, Peru's Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinando Scarinci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. Luz Tejedor's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Ferdinando Scarinci - 0-3 was put on the score board in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinando Scarinci saved Velester Football Club from getting behind. In the 44th minute, 鲁斐树 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinando Scarinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 46th minute of play. The Velester Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Velester Football Club from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
