Zeca Brodel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Manzanares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Zeca Brodel sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeca Brodel in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Doru Lițu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, The Beatles's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Takis Koutsos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Takis Koutsos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Takis Koutsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Koutsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Takis Koutsos. Takis Koutsos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Zeca Brodel could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. Doru Lițu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. The The Beatles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombia were winning 1-2.

Zeca Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Carballar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Takis Koutsos made a huge save. The Beatles's Zeca Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 minutes of play, The Beatles's Zeca Brodel made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeca Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Colombia booed when The Beatles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Hernani Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takis Koutsos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Carballar in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Santino Seco hit a great ball. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented The Beatles from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
