Horácio Teixeira came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. When Cléber Quadros fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s protests and gave Cléber Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s Cléber Quadros got a free kick in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donalton Meneses in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play forced 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s goalkeeper Horácio Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Paes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s Carlinhos de Salles got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Cléber Quadros with Clemente Vander as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 25 minutes into the game, Donalton Meneses recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Donalton Meneses showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Donalton Meneses came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber Quadros hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cléber Quadros took the corner. Cléber Quadros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jorge Mandrak charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Mandrak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Horácio Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s goalkeeper Horácio Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Varela in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horácio Teixeira saved 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ from getting behind. 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s Abel Campidelis was substituted for Enéas Varela. When Donalton Meneses came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donalton Meneses couldn't finish the play. A collision led to 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cléber Quadros hit a great ball. Carlinhos de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Carlinhos de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Carlinhos de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute Abel Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
