Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kent Gunnarsson made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes in the game Efrain Moruga did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eliseo Noboa. Sven Göransson took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Bänknötarnas BK's Sven Göransson in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. If Kent Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jack Walmarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Efrain Moruga made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bänknötarnas BK's Jan-Åke Vallman. The goalkeeper, Benito Sanz, was totally fooled by Bänknötarnas BK's Kent Gunnarsson, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 29th minute, Jesper Nordin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Sven Göransson sent off a good shot on target. Kurt Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Göransson in the 43rd minute of play. Sven Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Göransson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Bänknötarnas BK's Sven Göransson. But to his dismay, Sven Göransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Efrain Moruga made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Noboa. In the 62nd minute, Sven Göransson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bänknötarnas BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Efrain Moruga made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Noboa. 73 minutes into the match, Sven Göransson notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Gunnarsson in the 75th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Sven Göransson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Kent Gunnarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bänknötarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Gunnarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Kent Gunnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Sven Göransson took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Göransson in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Kent Gunnarsson made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Göransson's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Bänknötarnas BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
