Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Stickleback Utd Xl's Silvester Odell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cliff Flower hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes Stickleback Utd Xl's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sly Collier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Stickleback Utd Xl's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Sly Collier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sly Collier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sly Collier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Silvester Odell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvester Odell got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Howlett, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Sly Collier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sly Collier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvester Odell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 40th match minute, Stickleback Utd Xl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Armitstead to maneuver through the defense. Sly Collier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
