Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Filip Ivănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fălciu's goalkeeper Filip Ivănescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Ivănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 18th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Filip Ivănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Cazalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Ivănescu. Fălciu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Cazalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sabin Comșa sent off a good shot on target. Filip Ivănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Maxim Zbârnea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. Fălciu made a substitution. Sergiu Pora replaced Dacian Mâinea. Fălciu's Mădălin Ştefănescu was substituted for Marian Pascaru. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxim Zbârnea to strike the kick off in the second half. Filip Ivănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Facundo Cadaval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Babarada during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filip Ivănescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Comșa in the 61st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Zbârnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Fălciu's Sabin Comșa. But to his dismay, Sabin Comșa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 70th match minute, Fălciu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Tofan to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Cârnațiu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Filip Ivănescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joel Gaona. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fălciu's Maxim Zbârnea in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filip Ivănescu, 2-3. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Filip Ivănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Luca Ceaușescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 96th minute of play.
