After 47 played minutes Gärsnäs BF got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Griscti. Wang Cheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basel Al Azmi in the 48th minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Basel Al Azmi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Kuwait's goalkeeper Eshaq Al Khars, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Gärsnäs BF's Frederick Griscti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eshaq Al Khars made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Friebe in the 92nd minute of play forced U21 Kuwait's goalkeeper Eshaq Al Khars to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taqi Shadad, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gärsnäs BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
