Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teddy Tholsted 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogerio Oblak hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Tholsted in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teddy Tholsted might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teddy Tholsted ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Teddy Tholsted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teddy Tholsted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teddy Tholsted scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy Tholsted went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Teddy Tholsted's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. 倪国庭 hit a great ball. Ferdinand Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
