After 3 played minutes Mysarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Filip Kosel. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Ruiz Tagle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Inocencio Ruiz Tagle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inocencio Ruiz Tagle was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Inocencio Ruiz Tagle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominik Brett in the 20th minute. The referee ignored Mysarnas BK's protests and gave Tales De Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Tales De Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Frasquito in the 34th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Brett in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute Dominik Brett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Moises Gayoso in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mysarnas BK's Nils Sandström. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Kalle Hellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Hellkvist in the 52nd minute of play. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Ruiz Tagle having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when German Frasquito came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 69th minute of the match Jörn Magnusson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Hellkvist in the 75th minute of play. Peru were furious when Joaquin Prats was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mysarnas BK's George Jansson was substituted for Dominik Brett. German Frasquito's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Frasquito helped the player get up and apologised. German Frasquito hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The supporters of Peru booed when Mysarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Frasquito didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Tomas Ahlström with Kalle Hellkvist as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Hellkvist in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th play minute Antonio Tenorio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Inocencio Ruiz Tagle. 1-3. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
