With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Dionísio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Joaquin Prats fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dedé Dionísio quite easily take care of the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Sayılgan in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, 彭辉义 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedé Dionísio. Dedé Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedé Dionísio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Abbas Dersu made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Efe Sayılgan in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Şafak Yıldız was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing FC's players had a chance to rest. Şafak Yıldız made a great header on Racing FC's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. József Hidegkúti got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by 彭辉义. 46 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedé Dionísio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Efraim Gilabert hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes, Racing FC's Şafak Yıldız shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Noboa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing FC reached it. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Sayılgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Mina took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedé Dionísio. Dedé Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Racing FC's Abbas Dersu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moises Gayoso, made in the 59th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Sayılgan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Sayılgan in the 63rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Ahmet Efe Sayılgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 彭辉义 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedé Dionísio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 74th minute. In the 81st minute, Ahmet Efe Sayılgan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedé Dionísio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Racing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Dedé Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 彭辉义, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Milagros Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
