Michalis Bouras came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Gabirel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alketas Vertsotis in the 24th minute of play forced Richi Boys's goalkeeper Jonathan Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes, GOD OF WAR's Panos Tsiabras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Dantae came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GOD OF WAR reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alketas Vertsotis in the 32nd minute of play forced Richi Boys's goalkeeper Jonathan Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alketas Vertsotis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Richi Boys's zone, Kostas Tassakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Dantae came out of the goal and Kostas Tassakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orestis Koskinopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Stamatis Kazatzidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michalis Bouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Makis Efthimiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Eustaquio Gabirel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Bouras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Alketas Vertsotis could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Jonathan Dantae however easily saved by the left post. In the 86th minute, Igor Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panos Tsiabras charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panos Tsiabras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Panos Tsiabras. Ruben Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GOD OF WAR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
