In the 4th match minute, GOD OF WAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Karnezis to maneuver through the defense. Fondas Sakaridis struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Luis Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOD OF WAR. Stamatis Kazatzidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fondas Sakaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thrasivoulos Neopidis in the 12th minute of the match. Thrasivoulos Neopidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Cortez having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Emanuel Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fondas Sakaridis's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Fondas Sakaridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fondas Sakaridis in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Cortez saved Golden Team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Golden Team's goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Sakaridis came free, but Luis Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fondas Sakaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Cortez having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Lakis Poulogiannis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOD OF WAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakis Poulogiannis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Thrasivoulos Neopidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Team's Luis Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thrasivoulos Neopidis succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thrasivoulos Neopidis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Thrasivoulos Neopidis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Golden Team's Luis Cortez. Luis Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Ponciano kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fondas Sakaridis to strike the kick off in the second half. Fondas Sakaridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When GOD OF WAR's Thrasivoulos Neopidis in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Team's goalie prevented a goal. After 62 played minutes Golden Team got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Diegotxe. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luis Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fondas Sakaridis in the 71st minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Stamatis Kazatzidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GOD OF WAR and the Golden Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, GOD OF WAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Kazatzidis to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Golden Team's goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Sakaridis came free, but Luis Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thrasivoulos Neopidis went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thrasivoulos Neopidis in the 90th minute of play forced Golden Team's goalkeeper Luis Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thrasivoulos Neopidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes in the game, Fondas Sakaridis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luis Cortez having to interfere. Golden Team's Luis Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thrasivoulos Neopidis in the 96th minute of play. GOD OF WAR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
