Narciso Jerrald was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thrasivoulos Neopidis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. GOD OF WAR's Giannis Papadosifakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Hernando in the 8th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, GOD OF WAR's Panos Karnezis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Narciso Jerrald. The audience thought a goal was coming when Argyris Staboulis got free with Narciso Jerrald in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When GOD OF WAR's Argyris Staboulis, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for GOD OF WAR. The supporters of GOD OF WAR booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A well placed Argyris Staboulis short distance shot in the 18th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Narciso Jerrald acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Panos Karnezis. Narciso Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Staboulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argyris Staboulis. Anthimos Stratoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Argyris Staboulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Narciso Jerrald made a huge save. After having played for 37 minutes, Argyris Staboulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOD OF WAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Staboulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Jerrald made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Argyris Staboulis sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Thrasivoulos Neopidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. GOD OF WAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Thrasivoulos Neopidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Jerrald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thrasivoulos Neopidis in the 47th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Argyris Staboulis made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Anselmo Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Papadosifakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stamatis Kazatzidis came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the GOD OF WAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Kazatzidis couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Thrasivoulos Neopidis made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. RIVER's Narciso Jerrald tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Argyris Staboulis took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Jerrald. Narciso Jerrald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 62nd minute, Argyris Staboulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GOD OF WAR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Stamatis Kazatzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Nicasio Mendebal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Papadosifakis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Argyris Staboulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GOD OF WAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Staboulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argyris Staboulis in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Jerrald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Argyris Staboulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orestis Koskinopoulos's late challenge caught a RIVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orestis Koskinopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GOD OF WAR's Orestis Koskinopoulos got a free kick in the 79th minute. Thrasivoulos Neopidis struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Narciso Jerrald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOD OF WAR. When Alejo Llanos fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER's protests and gave Alejo Llanos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Alejo Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theocharis Dousis in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Jerrald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lakis Poulogiannis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Cristian Jerardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Papadosifakis skillfully saved the ball. 91 minutes into the match, GOD OF WAR's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Esdras came free, but Giannis Papadosifakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GOD OF WAR had played much better football throughout.
