Ramón Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Orlo in the 7th minute of play. Luis Cortez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferran Machado in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Mark Ortiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luis Cortez. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA booed when Golden Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Golden Team booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilen Adán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Cortez came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Otero Huerta. But to his dismay, Otero Huerta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 20th minute, Roberto Baeza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, one of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA. The referee gave Golden Team a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Orlo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ramón Quiroga. 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, Golden Team's goal looked a bit too open when Otero Huerta came free, but Luis Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Team's Luis Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Ortiz in the 36th minute of play. Ferran Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luis Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Roberto Baeza notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Golden Team's Luis Cortez. Luis Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Cortez was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Mark Ortiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mark Ortiz really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Orlo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ereinotz Llorca notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Golden Team's Luis Cortez. Luis Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferran Machado in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Cortez saved Golden Team from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Mark Ortiz notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Golden Team's Luis Cortez. Luis Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute, Ereinotz Llorca made a precise shot to the right of Luis Cortez. Golden Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 63rd minute Ferran Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Tulio Villa got a free kick in the 65th minute. Luis Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ereinotz Llorca, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Golden Team defense, Ereinotz Llorca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Cortez. The Golden Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Cortez should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Nafría in the 74th minute of play forced Golden Team's goalkeeper Luis Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Mark Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. Luis Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ferran Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. Luis Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Nafría in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Golden Team's goal looked a bit too open when Nabucodonosor Contratas came free, but Luis Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Team's Luis Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nabucodonosor Contratas in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Golden Team getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vicente Pirmin hit a great ball. Ereinotz Llorca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Cortez. Golden Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 89th play minutes Mark Ortiz shot 12-1, a short shot which went by Luis Cortez and just under the crossbar into goal. Luis Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Nafría in the 93rd minute of the match. Adan Ostots hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Mark Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-1.
