Golden Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Jansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Bergström in the 11th minute of play forced Golden Team's goalkeeper Luis Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match Adrian Bergqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Cortez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Golden Team's Luis Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Bergström in the 20th minute of play. Luis Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Bergström went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Golden Team's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Jansson came free, but Luis Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Frank Bergström made a precise shot to the right of Luis Cortez. Golden Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 34th minute, Henry Juhlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's Frank Bergström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Cortez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Karl-Michael Jansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 42 minutes into the game, Firma Barnängen's Björn Bröms nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The audience was convinced that Frank Bergström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Cortez was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The Golden Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Firma Barnängen were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Orlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Bergqvist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Jansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luis Cortez came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Michael Jansson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Orlo in the 62nd minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Orlo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmie Ek saved Firma Barnängen from getting behind. Frank Bergström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Luis Cortez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Golden Team getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Melquiades Ponciano hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Emanuel Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Bergström scored 0-9 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Cortez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, Firma Barnängen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Hernström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Orlo in the 79th minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Michael Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the game, Firma Barnängen's Frank Bergström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Luis Cortez came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Firma Barnängen's Karl-Michael Jansson. But to his dismay, Karl-Michael Jansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. With 94 minutes on the clock, Kent Bengtsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kent Bengtsson hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Golden Team's Vicente Pirmin in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
