One of Flores da Cunha - RS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amelie FC:s goal. Gugu Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Eriberto Abraão, was totally fooled by Amelie FC's Jeremias Cugat, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Amelie FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Flores da Cunha - RS's Eriberto Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Checa in the 63rd minute of play. Flores da Cunha - RS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Santos Checa scored to the left of an out of position Eriberto Abraão, making the score, 1-4. After 67 played minutes Amelie FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Galtero. In the 70th match minute, Amelie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Martxot to maneuver through the defense. Gugu Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Fernado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Checa in the 84th minute of play forced Flores da Cunha - RS's goalkeeper Eriberto Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amelie FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
