Antonio Grossman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Antonio Grossman made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Otero Huerta sent off a good shot on target. Clement McCormick's late challenge caught a F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clement McCormick helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Clement McCormick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Grossman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Ortiz in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA got a freekick which was hit by Manolito Flores. Gilbert Pena struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ramón Quiroga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia Denver. Jagiellonia Denver's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Ereinotz Llorca scored to the left of an out of position Antonio Grossman, making the score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mark Ortiz sped through Jagiellonia Denver's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antonio Grossman. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Denver's zone, Otero Huerta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Grossman came out of the goal and Otero Huerta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Mark Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jagiellonia Denver's Antonio Grossman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ereinotz Llorca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Grossman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Grossman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After a rather tough play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Xurde Solana got a free kick in the 45th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Micah LeBatelier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Xurde Solana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xurde Solana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xurde Solana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 57 minutes, Mark Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA and the Jagiellonia Denver players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA got a freekick which was hit by Mark Ortiz. In the 59thth minute of the game Mark Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jagiellonia Denver's Antonio Grossman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hoyt Dove's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Quiroga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Gilbert Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Quiroga having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Mark Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manolito Flores took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Grossman. Antonio Grossman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to Jagiellonia Denver getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Micah LeBatelier hit a great ball. The supporters of Jagiellonia Denver booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolito Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manolito Flores fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's protests and gave Manolito Flores a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Manolito Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 minutes of play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Mark Ortiz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Grossman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 minutes, Tulio Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ramón Quiroga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fully deserved thier win.
