The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Ahonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei in the 14th minute of play. Gao Wei Fei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Wei Fei in the 21st minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Joel Ahonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Gao Wei Fei made a precise shot to the right of Joel Ahonen. Revolución Joao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Xesus Cortes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gao Wei Fei in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Ahonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Wei Fei in the 29th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Joel Ahonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Vigil Almenara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Revolución Joao FC and the Goral Zywiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Wincent Drugi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Revolución Joao FC's attentive Evelio Mondrevilla managed to snatch the ball when Jaroslaw Garusov made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Goral Zywiec were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Revolución Joao FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariusz Zalipski took the corner. The supporters of Goral Zywiec booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vigil Almenara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Goral Zywiec were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Somoza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Revolución Joao FC's Vigil Almenara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jaroslaw Garusov in the 51 minute of the game. Joel Ahonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gao Wei Fei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Ahonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Goral Zywiec booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vigil Almenara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Grzegorz Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Ahonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Goral Zywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Lewicki to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Denis Negral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Revolución Joao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goral Zywiec the free kick. After 67 played minutes Revolución Joao FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Negral. In the 69th minute, Xesus Cortes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Revolución Joao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Revolución Joao FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 72 minutes, Gao Wei Fei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goral Zywiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gao Wei Fei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Goral Zywiec's Fariz Nair was substituted for Gao Wei Fei. Joel Ahonen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grzegorz Jajecznica's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 81st minute of play. Revolución Joao FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osvaldo Somoza in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fariz Nair kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Ahonen. That made the score 1-5 in the 85 minute of play. Joel Ahonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Fariz Nair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Mondrevilla during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evelio Mondrevilla kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Fariz Nair fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joel Ahonen, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Fariz Nair took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Joel Ahonen to make any attempt to save it. Goral Zywiec's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
