When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Kim Bolas put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Robin Olsen. In the 35th match minute, Grimsås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Björnberg to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Bolas in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Olsen saved Grimsås BK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Bolas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Olsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Matteo Borda got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dejan Cassar might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Olsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dejan Cassar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Robin Olsen made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Dejan Cassar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Olsen. Grimsås BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dejan Cassar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 80th minute, Karl-Johan Björnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrie Kerridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Askestät in the 95th minute of play. The Grimsås BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sliema Dragons FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
