In the 13th minute of the match, Kim Bolas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Spyros Renieris was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. GOD OF WAR's Spyros Renieris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save GOD OF WAR from getting a goal against them. With his leg Spyros Renieris managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Baran Erozan went to the cornerflag to take it. Barrie Kerridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Bertoglio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kim Bolas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spyros Renieris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Barrie Kerridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Bertoglio in the 26th minute of the match. Facundo Bertoglio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barrie Kerridge having to make a save. Barrie Kerridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Bertoglio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, GOD OF WAR's Spyros Renieris got control of the ball when Kim Bolas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Facundo Bertoglio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Pepe Ferreira threw the ball into play from the sideline. GOD OF WAR's Walmyr Severo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 53rd minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Renieris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sliema Dragons FC from getting a goal against them. GOD OF WAR's Spyros Renieris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dejan Cassar in the 75th minute of play. Barrie Kerridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Drambas in the 76th minute of the match. Dejan Cassar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Dejan Cassar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spyros Renieris was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 88 minutes in the game, Vassilis Drambas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Barrie Kerridge having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Drambas in the 90th minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Barrie Kerridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fabian Duca hit a great ball. Sliema Dragons FC's Barrie Kerridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Fågel in the 92nd minute of play. Alekos Tsitsanis scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barrie Kerridge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
