Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Alvi Verde's Leandro Heidemann in the 37th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sebastiano Rossi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC through an amazing save. In the 38th minute of the match Alvi Verde got a corner. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Attila Kiss ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Alvi Verde booed when MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position.
