Per Tunström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Gummeson made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Gummeson made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Per Tunström sent off a good shot on target. Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Valdemar Hurtig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mantorp and the Rönnöfors FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Charlie Almstedt's late challenge caught a Mantorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Almstedt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Charlie Almstedt got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mantorp's zone, Per Tunström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Gummeson came out of the goal and Per Tunström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the game, Per Tunström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Olof Gummeson. Per Tunström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Henry Fagerberg made the kick off in the second half. Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 54th minute of play. Magne Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bernt Kihlberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Sigvard Biörnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 75th minute of the match. Mantorp's Wiktor Östensson was substituted for Edvard Palmkvist. The supporters of Mantorp booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Hellgren didn't get a good kick on the ball.
