Revolución Joao FC's Uriel Becerra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Radowit Bugno in the 13 minute of the game. After 16 played minutes, Stettin's Gustaw Werra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Ahonen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Revolución Joao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Somoza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Christoffersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Uriel Coca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Stettin's Ruslan Malinowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Stettin's Radoslaw Niedzwiecki got a free kick in the 69th minute. Osvaldo Somoza struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Birger Christoffersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolución Joao FC. Ali Dem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Joel Ahonen made a huge save. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stettin! Emilio Garcidueñas made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fortunato Cardiel immediately put the ball in play. Revolución Joao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Somoza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
