Kim Bolas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Joel Ahonen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kim Bolass short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Joel Ahonen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joel Ahonen was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Kim Bolas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kim Bolas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Kim Bolas struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Joel Ahonen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sliema Dragons FC. Joel Ahonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Baran Erozan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Ahonen having to make a save. Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Revolución Joao FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Bolas in the 33rd minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Joel Ahonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baran Erozan made a great header on Sliema Dragons FC's corner, it was just that Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen managed to reach the ball for a save. Kim Bolas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Ahonen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Bolas ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Ahonen was a little too slow when Kim Bolas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Kim Bolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kim Bolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Ahonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Revolución Joao FC defense, Kim Bolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Ahonen. The Revolución Joao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Ahonen should have stopped the shot. Vilson Borrero made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Osvaldo Somoza however managed to control. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baran Erozan during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Baran Erozan. Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 61st minute of play. Joel Ahonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Bolas in the 65th minute of play. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Kim Bolas sped through Revolución Joao FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joel Ahonen. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Dejan Cassar replaced Kim Bolas. In the 70th minute, Vigil Almenara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Revolución Joao FC's zone, Baran Erozan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Ahonen came out of the goal and Baran Erozan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dejan Cassar came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Sliema Dragons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dejan Cassar couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vigil Almenara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Baran Erozan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Ahonen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Uriel Coca hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dejan Cassar came free, but Joel Ahonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Ahonen came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Dejan Cassar. But to his dismay, Dejan Cassar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 92 minutes into the match, Dejan Cassar notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen. Joel Ahonen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After taking down the ball on Sliema Dragons FC's corner Baran Erozan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Ahonen quite easily take care of the ball. Sliema Dragons FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
