Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Grimsås BK's Kaj Ahlberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Grimsås BK's zone, Bernt Kihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Majman came out of the goal and Bernt Kihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes Mantorp got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Wennerlund. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Ahlberg in the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernt Kihlberg in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Majman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Askestät came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Majman having to interfere. Bernt Kihlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bernt Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mantorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Kihlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Majman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes of play, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Majman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernt Kihlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Majman having to make a save. André Majman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Kihlberg in the 21st minute of the match. André Majman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernt Kihlberg's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Grimsås BK's goalkeeper André Majman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Lundqvist. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grimsås BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edvard Palmkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Mantorp's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Anders Olofsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Grimsås BK's zone, Bernt Kihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Majman came out of the goal and Bernt Kihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Mantorp's Aaron Lundqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The supporters of Mantorp booed when Grimsås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Askestät didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Grimsås BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aaron Lundqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47thth minute of the game Ted Sjöström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ted Sjöström in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Gummeson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Bernt Kihlberg made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Grimsås BK's Alvar Finman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. André Majman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernt Kihlberg went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Mantorp booed when Grimsås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Vacker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Bernt Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mantorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Kihlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Grimsås BK defense, Bernt Kihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Majman. The Grimsås BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Majman should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Bernt Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Majman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Bernt Kihlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grimsås BK's André Majman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Henriksson in the 80th minute of play. Alvar Sefastsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Mantorp's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edvard Palmkvist in the 91st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Grimsås BK's goalie and right to Valdemar Hurtig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Grimsås BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Edvard Palmkvist didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. There was no doubt that Mantorp were the better team. Mantorp's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
