After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Wiktor Dahlman got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Lundqvist. Arne Stor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Gummeson having to interfere. Arne Stor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sven-Olof Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Stenberg in the 26th minute of play forced Mantorp's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernt Kihlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magne Gunnarsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Kihlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Kihlberg in the 32nd minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Stenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Stenberg in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Gummeson saved Mantorp from getting behind. If Billy Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson got control of the ball when Per Stenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Stenberg in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Gummeson saved Mantorp from getting behind. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Stenberg struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sven-Olof Gummeson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnöfors FF. After having played for 70 minutes, Bernt Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mantorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Kihlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Olof Gummeson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Henry Fagerberg sent off a good shot on target. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Kihlberg in the 76th minute of play. Arne Stor came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Olof Gummeson could save by the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Kihlberg came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magne Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Mantorp got a corner. Rönnöfors FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edvard Palmkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edvard Palmkvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mantorp had won after a very even match.
