USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Larsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Decathlon Dudes's Tadej Pogačar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 41st minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tadej Pogačar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Larsson in the 64th minute of the match. After 68 minutes Decathlon Dudes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Monty Rogers who took care of the corner kick. Sam Campbell made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Decathlon Dudes's Tadej Pogačar managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 69th minute, Zach Harrison reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadej Pogačar. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 71st minute Anthon Melin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tadej Pogačar made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Sam Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Tadej Pogačar was a little too slow when Khalid Parry got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-4. Jacob May came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tadej Pogačar could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob May got free with Tadej Pogačar in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Khalid Parry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Decathlon Dudes throughout the match.
