Zenon Danisiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Zenon Danisiewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 16th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of Lucjan Sidorowicz. MKS MŁAWA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Karol Turak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Lucjan Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenon Danisiewicz to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Zenon Danisiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Danisiewicz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karol Turak struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS MŁAWA. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Radomir Brzonkala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1.
