The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nytäppet Fc's Xande Solitario was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 2nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 9th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Abrahamsson having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nytäppet Fc getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Martin Lindman hit a great ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Samuelsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xande Solitario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Nytäppet Fc fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Nytäppet Fc's Xande Solitario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Nytäppet Fc's Jakob Samuelsson got a free kick in the 60th minute. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sture Abrahamsson could save by the left post. Dušan Vlahović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson. Sture Abrahamsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sture Abrahamsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 72 minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Xande Solitario made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When Luis Andino fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Luis Andino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nytäppet Fc's Dušan Vlahović got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After 95 played minutes, Nytäppet Fc's Theo Svensson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nytäppet Fc reached it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Nytäppet Fc were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
