Primitivo Andino made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. With his leg Pang Bang Xun managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pang Bang Xun having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pang Bang Xun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daan Leers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
