After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jochem Klooster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Griskultingarnas FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jochem Klooster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Natasha Sjøholm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Griskultingarnas FF's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Natasha Sjøholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natasha Sjøholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Natasha Sjøholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Natasha Sjøholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natasha Sjøholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jonny Balle kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play forced Griskultingarnas FF's goalkeeper Natasha Sjøholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jonatan Smedfeldt sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jochem Klooster came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Natasha Sjøholm made a huge save. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Natasha Sjøholm quite easily take care of the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Griskultingarnas FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Smedfeldt to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natasha Sjøholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Natasha Sjøholm quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Sjøholm in the 83rd minute of play. Arne Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita shot from long distance in the 85th minute, but Natasha Sjøholm was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play.
