Peter-Michael Schmeichel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Peter-Michael Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 71 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter-Michael Schmeichel came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 94th minute. Peru played a much better game than Janusze Futbolu and deserved their victory. The Janusze Futbolu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
