Piara Santo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 17th minute, Piara Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The StardustRevolution fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piara Santo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Salvador Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. StardustRevolution's Piara Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, StardustRevolution's Piara Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Piara Santo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the StardustRevolution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piara Santo couldn't finish the play. Piara Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Piara Santo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StardustRevolution. 46 minutes into the game, Piara Santo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. The wind increased when Piara Santo made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Piara Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piara Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 54 minutes into the match, Piara Santo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. StardustRevolution made a substitution. Oscar Santo replaced Piara Santo. StardustRevolution's Eduardo Vasco was substituted for Salvador Rosalio. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Arsenio Erico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. When StardustRevolution's Oscar Santo, in the 64th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for StardustRevolution. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Oscar Santo sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 83 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StardustRevolution the free kick. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes of play, StardustRevolution's Oscar Santo made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Oscar Santo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Oscar Santo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0.
