Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Charly Rusterholz made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6th play minutes Charly Rusterholz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Rondo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Orestis Lazarou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orestis Lazarou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orestis Lazarou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Rondo's Rick de Zee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Orestis Lazarou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 36thth minute of the game Charly Rusterholz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Rusterholz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match Rondo got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rick de Zee ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Rondo's Charly Rusterholz to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Olof Huizinga hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Orestis Lazarou in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 minutes Rondo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Salvador Gisbert was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Rusterholz in the 60th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacco Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Arnout Arends made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 72nd minute Charly Rusterholz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Arends fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Dirk-Jan Knuppel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Dirk-Jan Knuppel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacco Hekman in the 79th minute of the match. When Rondo's Jacco Hekman in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Olof Huizinga. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rondo had played much better football throughout.
