Thomas Vollmar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thomas Vollmar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 10 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. If Adam Pacholewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Pankracy Malicki tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 38th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. In the 66th minute Adam Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newcastle United made a substitution. Filip Orling replaced Julian Obuchowicz. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 71st minute of play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Thomas Vollmar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Vollmar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Newcastle United had played much better football throughout.
