In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of ANAHA FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11th play minutes Francisco Ibañez shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of ANAHA FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Walczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After 19 minutes of play, ANAHA FC's Francisco Ibañez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Francisco Ibañez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Tanek Walczyk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 29th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmin Négrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Tanek Walczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ANAHA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludovic Guillois in the 33rd minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 44th minute, Ludovic Guillois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 48 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ANAHA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. ANAHA FC's Francisco Ibañez got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Ibañez was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Ponc in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Firmin Négrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Francisco Ibañez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Ludovic Guillois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, ANAHA FC's Francisco Ibañez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Cayetano Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Ponc in the 87th minute of play. Dudu Georgescu scored 7-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a ANAHA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. ANAHA FC's Dudu Georgescu got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 100th minute of play.
