Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Anaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play forced Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rodolfo Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tacheros OFF's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Anaya came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tacheros OFF's Rodolfo Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. When Tacheros OFF's Mattin Solbeida in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Mattin Solbeida put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. After 24 minutes, Jan-Ove Tunander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacheros OFF and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Tunander. Mattin Solbeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Adolfo Blanco sent off a good shot on target. Rodolfo Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Mattin Solbeida struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacheros OFF. In the 37th minute of the match, Christian Najarro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Anaya was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Anaya. Rodolfo Anaya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 54 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's Matias Iztal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes in the game, Cristian Sancho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodolfo Anaya having to interfere. Jose Sein hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tacheros OFF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Adolfo Blanco hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 64th minute, Mattin Solbeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Jan-Ove Tunander was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Christian Najarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacheros OFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Najarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Anaya made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of play forced Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rodolfo Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Tacheros OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Tunander to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rodolfo Anaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattin Solbeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Tacheros OFF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
