Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ianis Man in the 13th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ianis Man in the 14th minute of play. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Octavian Soare despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Soare was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Shi Li sent off a good shot on target. Peru were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Galati Harbour Cats's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Moises Gayoso got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 38 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa had great luck who in the 44thth minute grab hold of the ball when Claudiu Manolescu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 46th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Prats to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Dan Petrescu from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Rolando Noboa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ianis Man to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ianis Man came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Soare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Dan Petrescu made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Shi Li however managed to control. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Soare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavian Soare. Eliseo Mina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Octavian Soare was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 72 minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Dan Petrescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 79 minutes, Mo Yuan Fan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galati Harbour Cats and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mo Yuan Fan to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galati Harbour Cats! Octavian Soare had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Galati Harbour Cats defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavian Soare. The Galati Harbour Cats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Soare should have stopped the shot. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dan Petrescu in the 94 minute of the game. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 98th minute of play. The Galati Harbour Cats fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
