A sloppy throw-in by Ivan Vâtcă in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Tiberiu Caramarin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shame!. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The wind increased when Luz Tejedor made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Shame! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Vâtcă to maneuver through the defense. Tiberiu Caramarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiberiu Caramarin ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Shame!'s Florin Seremet got a free kick in the 69th minute. Shame! made a substitution. David Tunander replaced Dorin Banu. In the 71st minute, Mihăiţă Ilarie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shame!'s Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. In the 81st minute, David Tunander made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Peru's Calistrat Madgearu threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peru were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Shame!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Antonio Tenorio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Calistrat Madgearu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shame! had won after a very even match.
