Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Sebastian Kazczyk sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisson Becker having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Sebastian Kazczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chile's Pedro Indiano got a free kick in the 12th minute. The long shot by Roland Redondo in the 13th minute really tested Thiago Pliego's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Kazczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Sebastian Kazczyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Sebastian Kazczyk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego, 1-0. In the 24th minute, Felix Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Kazczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Juniors's goalkeeper Alisson Becker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alisson Becker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Alisson Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play. Alisson Becker came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Sebastian Kazczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Efe Suheyl made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Real Juniors were awarded a corner. Roland Redondo went to the cornerflag to take it. Real Juniors's Javi Pinola was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Keanu Reeves made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Felix Garrido. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Suheyl came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Alisson Becker however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 82 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Alisson Becker managed to make a qualified save. Real Juniors's players were relieved. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Ahmet Efe Suheyl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Juniors.
