In the 11thth minute of the game Zdzislaw Rydzewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute U21 Poland were awarded a corner. Stanislaw Maziarski went to the cornerflag to take it. 13 minutes into the match, KKS Magines's goalkeeper Waldemar Robak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witold Bycofski. Waldemar Robak made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Kryspin Mleczewski sent off a good shot on target. Tanek Wojtyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Chodzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Maziarski in the 20th minute of play. Kryspin Mleczewskis short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Waldemar Robak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Kryspin Mleczewski put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Waldemar Robak. Kryspin Mleczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Robak having to interfere. Tanek Wojtyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Chodzinski in the 32nd minute of play. In the 42ndth minute Kryspin Mleczewski got a great chance to score trying to place the ball in the top left corner, but Waldemar Robak was prepared and efficiently stopped the ball from getting in. Witold Bycofski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 49th minute U21 Poland were awarded a corner. Stanislaw Maziarski went to the cornerflag to take it. U21 Poland's Stanislaw Maziarski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Waldemar Robak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Waldemar Robak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witold Bycofski's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Tytus Chazon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KKS Magines and the U21 Poland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute Kryspin Mleczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Robak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Poland's Tanek Wojtyna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Chodzinski in the 59th minute of play. The KKS Magines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Robak should have stopped the shot. KKS Magines's Bartosz Jarosz was substituted for Grzegorz Michnik. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Magines's zone, Stanislaw Maziarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Robak came out of the goal and Stanislaw Maziarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Federico Chiesa managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Poland's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Chiesa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Robak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80thth minute of the game Er Håland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stanislaw Maziarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Robak having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Er Håland notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of KKS Magines's Waldemar Robak. Waldemar Robak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tanek Wojtyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Chodzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Lucjan Mis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KKS Magines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Poland the free kick. A collision led to KKS Magines getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. KKS Magines's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
