A collision led to MKS MŁAWA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stanislaw Andrysiak hit a great ball. Viktoras Rurin might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucjan Sidorowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viktoras Rurin ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of FC Devils booed when MKS MŁAWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Andrysiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Brysz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucjan Sidorowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Turak in the 69th minute of play. FC Devils made a substitution. Walery Percha replaced Viktoras Rurin. MKS MŁAWA's Stanislaw Oleksiuk was substituted for Aureliusz Wieczorek. Karol Turak kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. MKS MŁAWA's Lucjan Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Brysz in the 92nd minute of play. MKS MŁAWA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
