Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Rizescu in the 7th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Buffalo Timişoara's Victor Ologu threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnulfo Marino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victor Ologu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Ooms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arnulfo Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristinel Tomozei during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Cristinel Tomozei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wawrzyniec Pysz got free with Victor Ologu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Victor Ologu managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With 17 minutes on the clock, Doru Vernescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Vernescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Voicu in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Ologu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Franky Ooms came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franky Ooms couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the game, Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Ologu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 35th minute, Valentin Voicu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 38th minute of the match Olgierd Kilar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Ologu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Augusto Benitez could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Victor Ologu however easily saved by the left post. Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Rizescu in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alex Rizescu made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franky Ooms in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Ologu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Ologu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wawrzyniec Pysz's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 61st match minute, Raureni Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Tomozei to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Franky Ooms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Franky Ooms notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu. Victor Ologu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Victor Neicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buffalo Timişoara's Adrian Zbora was substituted for Valentin Voicu. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Victor Neicu hit a great ball. Victor Ologu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Ooms in the 69th minute of the match. Victor Ologu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Ologu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Ologu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Koninckx in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Franky Ooms notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu. Victor Ologu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Adrian Zbora elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Ologu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Victor Ologu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Benitez in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Buffalo Timişoara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
