In the 15th minute Stig-Åke Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Grau in the 20th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jakobe in the 22nd minute of play. Primitivo Grau scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dumitru Doloman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dumitru Doloman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dumitru Doloman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Grau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Grau in the 34th minute of play. Dumitru Doloman made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Zhao Sen Yang sent off a good shot on target. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Grau in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhao Sen Yang to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuuno Tälli to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 53rd minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes Viola Invest's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stasio Bienienda who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Bernardo Di Piazza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Pandele in the 61st minute of the match. Petre Iftode hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Primitivo Grau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
