Corné van Basten didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henk Veerman. In the 17th minute, Henk Veerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rana came free, but Cihan Zafer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Oltean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Yaşar Recai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Henk Veerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Oltean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Bilașco made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Martin Rana. After some careless play in the FC aDeX defense, Henk Veerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Oltean. The FC aDeX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Oltean should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute Giorgos Neymar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cihan Zafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cihan Zafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Rana, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henk Veerman was the one to do the kick off. Matei Oltean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Veerman in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Neymar in the 54th minute of play forced ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goalkeeper Cihan Zafer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cihan Zafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Rana, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Veerman in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matei Oltean saved FC aDeX from getting behind. If Henk Veerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Henk Veerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Oltean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► made a substitution. Gürkan Gurko replaced Güney Özboga. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Özbek Karahan was substituted for Mustafa Yaşar Recai. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Anton Scheupach quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentin Bilașco, made in the 77th minute of the game. Henk Veerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matei Oltean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Cihan Zafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC aDeX players left disappointed.
